Quick answers
University event AV questions
Which university and college events do you support?
PremiumAVC supports event AV for admissions programs, admitted-student days, commencement, donor events, orientation and campus meetings in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Services can include sound, presentation screens, LED video walls, livestreaming and operator-supported equipment, with the final scope agreed for each event.
How should we plan AV across several campus spaces?
Share the room list, expected audience in each space, schedule, travel distances, power and network contacts. Identify simultaneous sessions and where announcements or shared content must be heard or seen. Each room's equipment and staffing needs should be confirmed rather than assuming one system can cover the whole campus.
Can LED screens support admissions presentations and campus branding?
Yes. LED walls and event signage can display approved presentations, schedules, campus branding and sponsor content. Share the room layout and sample graphics so placement, readability and playback can be planned. Live photo activations are a separate service to discuss when they are part of the event goals.
What should we confirm for a commencement livestream?
Confirm the ceremony schedule, camera positions, audio feeds, viewing platform, venue internet and rehearsal access. Discuss captions, recording permissions, delivery needs and any outdoor weather contingency before finalizing the scope. A livestream or recording should be explicitly included in the agreed production plan.
How do we plan for accessibility and participant permissions?
Share audience access requirements and university policies for filming, photography and content approval. Identify readable slides, sightlines, captioning or assistive-listening needs early, and agree who will provide each service. Obtain the required permissions before recording or displaying participant images.
What should our campus team include in the event brief?
Include the event date, campus buildings and rooms, estimated audience, program and speaker schedule, setup and removal windows, and facilities, IT and procurement contacts. Note presentation sources, microphone counts, remote participation and recording needs so the quote can separate confirmed requirements from optional additions.
